"The History of Lytham
Shipyard" Exhibition

An exhibition on the history of Lytham Shipyard was previewed on 3 March 2010 by The Mayor of Fylde Councillor Paul Rigby and the Mayoress,
Margaret Rigby. The Mayor was introduced by Chairman of Lytham Heritage Group Alan
Ashton and Exhibitions' Coordinator, Audrey Kirby. The evening at Lytham Heritage Centre, which
is owned and managed by Lytham Heritage Group, was a great success and was attended
by many local dignitaries with connections to Lytham's maritime history.
The exhibition is open from 2 to 28 March, Tuesday to Sunday, and Bank Holidays from 10am to
4pm. Admission is free and donations are welcome.
